Eugene Gregan was selected by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China and The Organizing Committee for the Olympic Fine Arts, 2012 as one of a limited number of Western artists to participate in the Chinese government's London-based exhibit this summer, “exhalting the Olympic Spirit and Ideal through the Fine Arts.” Selected for exhibition was Mr. Gregan's diptych “Two Views of the Great Wall,” consisting of two oil-on-linen panels, 42" x 42" each. The exhibit runs August 1-7 at the London Barbicon Center; in lieu of attending its opening, Mr. Gregan will be accepting an honorarium from its organizers.

Subsequent to the exhibition, the work will be returned to the artist.

Gregan solo show and gallery talk at the Emerson Resort

In October of 2010, the Emerson, a four-star, four-diamond resort in Mt. Tremper, NY, hosted a major retrospective of Eugene's work. Utilizing three separate galleries encompassing over 6,000 square feet, more than 150 paintings were shown, one of the largest solo exhibitions ever held in the Woodstock — Catskill High Peaks region. Visitation and media coverage were excellent, sales were very good.
